Raymond G. Leggiero, 50 of N. Syracuse died Saturday. A native of Bronx, he lived in Vestal prior to settling in N. Syracuse. Ray was employed with Sensis Corp. as a Software Engineer. Ray was a dedicated husband, father, son and brother. He was an active Troop Leader in Boy Scouts. He participated in all of his childrens' activities as coach and mentor. Ray was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church where he was active in outreach and childrens' activities. He was a member of Liverpool K of C.

Surviving are his wife of 26 years, the former Patricia Wakefield, three sons, Anthony, Matthew and Brandon Leggiero, a special niece, Amelia (David) Whalen of Albany, his parents, Raymond E. and Trini Leggiero of The Villages, Fl, brothers, Joe (Rhea) and James (Kelly) Leggiero both of Atlanta, sister, Debbie (Jim) DeFoe of St. Petersburg, Fl, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm at the New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Burial will be in North Syracuse Cemetery. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Thursday at St. Rose of Lima Church, N. Syracuse.
