Raymond P. Keene of Syracuse, NY passed away after a long battle with cancer on Saturday, August 22nd 2020 at home at the age of 62.
Raymond was born on June 22nd, 1958 and was the oldest son of Raymond and Antoinette Keene. Ray was raised on the Westside of Syracuse and attended St. Lucy's school, playing baseball and basketball. He retired in 2017 after working at the Rite Aid Distribution Center for over 25 years. Ray was a dog lover, and an avid sports fan.
Ray is survived by his only son, Brendan J. Keene of Fort Lauderdale, FL, and his three brothers Salvatore "Sam" Keene, James Keene, and Michael Keene of Syracuse, NY.
Ray was predeceased by his mother Antoinette Keene and his sister Ann "Sissy" Keene.
To Raymond's request there will be a private service for close friends and family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in Ray's name.
