Raymond R. Grant

Raymond R. Grant, 86, of North Syracuse, passed away on December 17, 2023 due to complications from two strokes. He was born on September 4, 1937 in Malone, NY, to the late Helen and Cecil Grant, the first of seven children.

After graduating high school, Raymond entered the US Air Force in 1956 and proudly served for 20 years until retiring in 1976 as a Tech Sergeant. Raymond went on to work at the GSA for 10 years and finally retiring from the Taft Road Post Office.

He was predeceased by his first son, Gregory; brothers, Richard, Carl and Dale Grant; sisters, Murial and Myrtle Reome.

Raymond is survived by his wife of 62 years, Olga; son, Raynard (Kathleen) Grant; sister, Darlene Grant; many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 21st 2pm-5pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, NY 13212. Burial services will be private in North Syracuse Cemetery.
