Raymond A. Fischer

Raymond A. Fischer, 65, of Clay went home to the Lord on October 28, 2022. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on February 4, 1957.

Raymond was a veteran in the United States Air Force and served as a Firefighter. He loved the Lord and attended Living Word Church for the majority of his life, where he loved to worship. He was a beloved husband, protective father and adoring Papa. He enjoyed being in nature, fishing with his children and grandchildren, kayaking, photography, playing his guitar, and bird watching. He was a classic car enthusiast, and enjoyed long drives in his Oldsmobile.

He was predeceased by his Parents, Walter and Arlene Fischer; and his Brothers, Richard and Robert Fischer.
Raymond is survived by his loving Wife of 45 years, Susan Fischer; his Daughters, Amber (Paul) Mazur, Krista (Brian) Edmonds; Grandchildren, Rachel Mazur, Jacob Mazur, Jonathan Mazur, and Rebecca Edmonds; Sister, Penny Fischer; Nieces and Nephew.

Calling Hours will be held on Thursday November 3, 2022 from 10:00 am to 12:00pm with a service at 12:00 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals in North Syracuse. A burial will follow at North Syracuse Cemetery.
