Raymond F. Bensing, 83, of Cicero, passed away Tuesday. He was a WWII Veteran serving in the Navy. Ray was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying Oneida Lake and Lake Ontario. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited and a life member of the South Bay Assoc. He retired from Ridley Electric and was a member of the IBEW local 43.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Lola Zarins; sister, Jean M. Spencer nieces; Chris Dalpan and Mary Beth Davis; and nephew, Jim Spencer.
Services will be Saturday, 10 AM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery. A calling hour will be Saturday from 9-10 AM, at the funeral home, before services.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the SPCA.
