Raymond R. Dempsey Jr.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Raymond Dempsey Jr., beloved father, grandfather, and Navy Veteran who passed away peacefully at the age of 82, on December 27, 2024 at home in Cicero NY.

Ray was predeceased by his devoted wife; Siobhan with whom he shared many years of love and cherished memories. The two were inseparable and together they built a life full of joy, laughter, and family. Their bond remains a beautiful testament to a life well lived.

He is survived by his eight children; Martin (Amy), Crystal Springs, MS, Scott (Nancie), Clovis, CA, Patrick (Rose), Longmont, CO, Michael (Charlene),  Manassas, VA, Christopher,  Port Salerno, FL, Kevin (Heather), Cleveland, NY, Erin, Cicero, NY, and Noel (Holly), Brewerton, NY and his sisters; Elaine Wells and Janet Gaza, 18 Grandchildren and four Great Grandchildren.

Ray will be dearly missed by his children, grandchildren, and extended family. We will remember his quick wit and his sense of humor most. Raymond’s memory will forever be cherished, and he will always be remembered with love. We take comfort knowing that he and his wife, Siobhan who passed earlier this year are now reunited. 

At the request of the deceased no service will be held and a private celebration of life will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Raymond's memory to Shriner's Hospital for Children, which was a cause dear to his heart.
