Randall M. Pearse, 56, of Central Square, passed away from the extremely rare Creutzfeldt–Jakob disease on August 5, 2023.
He was born in Syracuse, New York on November 23, 1966 to Michael and Sandra Pearse.
A 1985 CNS High School Graduate, Randy has been working for RICOH for over 22 years. Randy enjoyed spending time outdoors, hiking, fishing, kayaking and gardening. He also loved to watch racing and football. He was an excellent cook who could make anything. Randy was a hardworking, caring and kind individual who always put people that were important to him first.
He was preceded in death by Mother, Sandra Pearse.
He is survived by his loving Wife of 34 years, Catherine "Puff" Pearse; Son, Anthony Pearse; Father, Michael (Diana) Pearse; Brother, Scott A. (Patti) Pearse; Step-Sisters, Lisa (Jeff) Blake and Laura (Drake) Ewald; Mother-in-law, Rose Uzzell; his Siberian Husky, Kobe Rocket.
Visitation will take place on Friday, August 11th from 4-7 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday at 10 am at St. Rose of Lima Church, N. Syracuse.
A special thank you to the Doctors and Staff on the ICU and Oncology units at St. Joseph's Hospital for their wonderful care.
