Ramon A. Longdo

Ramon A. Longdo, 79, of Leesburg, Fl passed away June 27, 2007. He was born in Fort Edward, NY on June 14, 1928. Ray was a Veteran of the Korean War, an electrical engineer, and worked at General Electric as a cost analyst for over 30 years. He was one of the founding members of NAVAC, a post Commander of the North Syracuse VFW and Member of the American Legion. He played taps for hundreds of deceased Veterans over the years. He was an honorary member of the Clay Sportsman and the South Shore Rod and Guns Clubs, and was an avid Ham Radio Operator, known to many around the world as K2YJR.
Ray is survived by his daughter Darleen Longdo, David and Heidi (Hutter) Ferguson, Jim and Leslie (Ferguson) Casey, one granddaughter and five grandsons, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 10 am Saturday July 14, 2007 at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Howlett Hill Rd, Onondaga Hill.
