Ralph C. Carter, 67, of Syracuse, passed away March 2, 2023.
Ralph was born in Midway, Florida on March 23, 1955 to the late Ralph and Ozzie Carter.
A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Ralph served during the Vietnam War era as a Private First Class Rifleman. Later, he retired from the NYS DOT after many years as a welder. A longtime fan of the Dallas Cowboys and LA Lakers. He never met a stranger, every person in the world, to him, was just a friend he had not met yet. He always saw the good in people. Ralph was "THE BEST!" Fisherman.
He is survived by Wife of 47 years, Trymeter C. Carter; Daughter, Teranne (Brandon) Carter Ragland; Three Sons: Ralph C. (Shawnteica) Carter III, Jamisun Carter and Christian Carter; Seven Granddaughters: Cheynell, Alexis, Mariah, Amillia, Jazmine, Aaliyah and Aryn; Grandson, Jamisun Michael; As well as a host of Siblings, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and Friends.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, March 11th from 12-2 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse. A service will follow at 2 pm. Burial will be private.
