Priscilla B. Nisiewicz, 74, of North Syracuse, passed away on Tuesday after a courageous battle with multiple myeloma.
Priscilla was born on April 21, 1945 the daughter of the late Alden Raeburn and Helen Benson.
She went to New Hartford Schools and graduated in 1967 from Potsdam State Teachers College. She married John Michael Nisiewicz on August 5, 1967 and they shared a special relationship for 52 years. She retired from the North Syracuse School District after many years using her mechanical gift in the audio/visual dept. She adored her family and spending time with them at Raquette Lake.
Priscilla is survived by her husband John, daughters, Priscilla A. Nisiewicz, Rebecca Cizenski (Jeremy Allen), 5 grand dogs, sister, Diane (William) James, brother-in-law, Joseph (Kathy) Nisiewicz. Along with many friends including; Jan and Bob Cowherd, Janice Clark, Peggy Hopsicker and Marlene Hujar. The family would like to thank Dr. Richardson & Staff at Dana Farber in Boston, Dr. Kligerman & Staff at HOA and St. Joseph's 3-2 Unit for their wonderful care.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 2-4pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, with services at 4pm. Burial will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery in New Hartford on Monday 10am.
