Phyllis "Muffin" Padilla, 66, a lifelong resident of Syracuse, New York, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 after fighting an unexpected and short, but courageous battle with lung cancer.
Phyllis was born in Chicago, Illinois where she worked numerous jobs to make ends meet and raise her 3 beautiful kids before moving to Syracuse, New York.
Phyllis will always be remembered as an incredibly kind-hearted, loving, and generous woman, who left an impact on numerous lives throughout her journey on this Earth. She had immense love and appreciation for her family who stayed near her bedside throughout her time of need. She will be deeply missed by everyone who's life she touched and will always be kept in their hearts.
Phyllis is survived by her loving children Malisa Kwiek(John Hood), Kimberly Farmer(John Harner), and Steven Kwiek(Krystal Kwiek); her many grandkids, great-grandkids, and lifelong family friends.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals on Friday, July 8th, 2022 from 11am-12pm.
