Phyllis L. Cotton, 78, of Syracuse, passed away on Thursday at James Square Nursing Home. She was born December 9, 1933 in Syracuse daughter of Raymond and Helen Cotton. Phyllis was a member of St. Daniels Church.
Surviving are 2 daughters; Mary (Bob) Thomas, Judith Mattiaccio, 3 sons; Edward, John (Linda) and David Mattiaccio, 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, brother, Donald (Shirley) Cotton, along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 2 sisters; Margaret and Jane and brother, Richard.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 1 to 3 pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse. A funeral mass will be held on Monday 9am at St. Daniels Church. Burial will take place in Brookside Cemetery, Shortsville, NY.
Contributions may be made to James Square Nursing Home.
