Phillip Hayes

Phillip "Phil" Hayes, 63, of Cicero, passed away on Tuesday June 27, 2023, at Francis House, surrounded by his family. Phillip was born in Syracuse, NY on March 18, 1960 the son of the late Kenneth, Sr. and Joan Hayes. Phil retired from Carrier Corp. in Syracuse. He was predeceased by his brother, Kenneth Hayes Jr. and sister, Kathleen Still. Phil was an avid hunter and an all-round outdoorsman. He also enjoyed riding his Harley.

He is survived by his two daughters, Taryn Poirier (Rich Manuel), Alyssa Hayes; three grandchildren, Joseph, Aubrey, Liana; three brothers, Robert Sr. (Sue) Hayes, William Sr. (Sue Ellen) Hayes, Timothy (Joyce) Hayes; Dina Poirier, the mother of his children; along with many Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

Visitation will be held on Sunday July 9, 2023 from 1-4pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, with a sharing of memories at 4pm.

The family would like to thank all the staff and volunteers at the Francis House for the great care they provided to Phil and all of us.
