Peter J. Tatusko Jr., 78, of Syracuse passed away peacefully with family by his side on Thursday at Loretto Nursing Home.
Peter was born on April 29, 1941 in Syracuse, the son of the late Peter and Victoria Tatusko.
Peter served in the US Marines Corps., stationed in Vietnam.
He was employed for over 20 years at General Motors, retiring in 1993, and he was a member of the American Legion. Peter enjoyed the outdoors, landscaping, listening to Elvis, cooking for his family & friends and entertaining everyone with his wit, humor and charm.
Peter is survived by the love of his life of 25 years, Debbie D'Antonio; daughter, Danielle Tatusko (Jan Weichsel); son, Peter Tatusko, III; brother, John (Denise) Tatusko; sister, Mary Lasnicki; step-daughter, Elisabeth D'Antonio (Matthew Thompson); grandchildren; Tyler, Gabrielle, Charlie, along with many nieces and nephews.
A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday, July 2nd, at 11am at St. Peter & St. Michael's Church, Onondaga Hill.
Peter's family wishes to express their deepest gratitude for all the love and support during his stay at Loretto, especially the 5th Floor Cunningham staff.
