Peter C. Silky

Peter C. Silky, 67, of Liverpool, passed away January 3, 2023.

Peter was born in Syracuse, New York on July 29, 1955 to the late John and Barbara Silky.

Peter previously worked at East Syracuse Sales and Nissan. He then worked many years at Raite Rubbish Garbage Company as a recycler. He always worked as a self-employed auto body repair man.

Affectionately known as "Cheap Pete", he was always known for telling others what he will pay. In his free time he enjoyed going to various car and boat shows and loved to travel to Jacksonville Beach. He loved to take Terri to the casino for a night out and to place bets on horses.

He made sure that the holidays were always memorable, specifically he would put on a large Halloween display that the children would look forward to every year. His first and last thoughts every day were about his children. Peter was a devoted and caring father and husband who loved to come home to his family and Wife every night.

He is survived by his Wife of 23 years and together 31 Christmases, Terri Wildman-Silky; Children, Jennifer (Rob) Racciatti, Melissa Silky, Gregory (Erinrose) Silky, Texina (Trevor) Silky; Grandchild, Xander Silky; Three Siblings, Catherine (Ron), Ellen (Gus), Steve (Sandy); As well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will take place at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse on Thursday, January 12th from 4-7 PM with a service to follow at 7 PM.
