Peter L. Paige, 85, of Cicero, passed away December 7, 2020. Peter was born in Utica, New York on March 15, 1935 to the late Louis and Rose Paige. He attended St. Bernard's Catholic Seminary in Rochester.
Peter served in several parishes within the Syracuse Diocese for 36 years as a priest. Later in life he was a homebound and substitute teacher for the North Syracuse, Liverpool, and Solvay school districts. He was a member of the Clay Seniors, and attended Sacred Heart Church where he was a parishioner for many years. Peter loved to read and play the piano. Most importantly he loved spending time with his family and wife, Helen.
Peter is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years, Helen Paige; step-sons, Scott Doody, Brad (Inna) Ranieri; granddaughters, Gianna and Maya Ranieri; grandsons, Brandon (Kristine)Doody, and Nick Price; great-grandson, Matthew; godchild, Linda Romano; close friend, Toni Heitcamp; and many close cousins.
A memorial mass will take place Saturday, 9:30AM at Sacred Heart Church, Cicero, NY.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Cicero Fire Department in memory of Peter.
