Peter Gorman, 72, passed away Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Peter's childhood was challenged by cerebral palsy and deafness. With determination he graduated from Percy Hughes and was employed at Rollway Bearing for 40 years. Shortly after he was employed at Walmart in Central Square for 14 years.
He was kind, dependable and hard working and will be missed by all who knew him. Peter loved car racing, bowling and his lottery tickets.
Peter was predeceased by his parents Don and Anne Gorman, step-son, Michael Collins and his first wife, Deborah.
Peter is survived by his loving wife Joan of 28 years, daughter, Kari Lyn Reddick, stepdaughter, Heidi Claxton, grandchildren, Lexxi Reddick, Scott Michael Claxton, Shawn Claxton, Sarah Claxton, brother, Michael Gorman, sister, Susan Goleski, along with several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 1-4pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse.
