Peter Cogan, 93, of Syracuse, passed away on Friday at James Square Nursing Home after a short illness.
He served in the US Navy during WW II from 1944-45. He retired from Lamson Corp. after 25 years.
He was predeceased by his wife Erma after 51 years of marriage. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughters; Jan Cogan, Sheri Cogan, son, Peter Cogan, Jr., brother; William Cogan, Edward Cogan, and sister, Julia Bowman.
Survivors include his sons, Wayne (Nancy) Cogan, Tom Cogan, Darren (Catherine) Cogan, Paul Cogan, daughters; Linda (Chris) Woodward, Iris Cogan, Kim Jacobs, and 16 grandchildren.
Private services will be held at North Syracuse Cemetery.
