Peter Anthony Sgambato, 64, of Clay passed away Monday at the Francis House. Born in Gloversville, he formerly worked for Syracuse Supply Co. and retired from the Turning Stone Casino. He is predeceased by his parents, Ottavio and Anna Sgambato and a brother, Salvatore.
He is survived by his wife of thirty years, Barbara (Gentile) Sgambato; his son, Peter A. of NYC; his daughter, Deanna (William) Aldrich of Dewitt; a brother, Thomas; aunt, Edith Falacco, both of Gloversville; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Thursday, 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be in the North Syracuse Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Wednesday from 5-8 PM at New Comer Family Family Funeral Home, 705 No. Main St.
Contributions may be made in Peter's name to the Francis House, 108 Michaels Ave., Syracuse, NY 13208.
