Pauline Grace (Delles) Regan passed away Sunday October 26, 2014 at St Camillus Rehabilitation Center with her loving daughter Jacqueline at her side. She was 90 years old. Pauline was the daughter of the late Fredrick and Gertrude (Quilty) Delles and was born and grew up on a farm in Lowville NY.

She attended nursing school at Sisters of Mercy Hospital in Watertown, NY where she graduated as a Registered Nurse.

She was a pioneer in woman owned businesses in Syracuse NY as she and her business partner Betty O'Hern owned and operated the Onondaga – Delaware Nursing Home and the Paula-Betta Rest Home in the 1960s and 1970s.

At the same time she was starting her own businesses she worked as a night shift nursing supervisor at Community Hospital. Needless to say she had a farm girl work ethic.

After her husband Edward was transferred to Akron Ohio in 1970 she took a position as Director of Nursing at Broadview Nursing Home a 250 bed nursing home in Parma, Ohio, a position she held until her return to the Syracuse area in 1988.

She was an advocate for the elderly patients in her care and made sure they were comfortable, received good care and felt loved.

She was predeceased by her husband Edward Regan and her siblings Shirley Renczkowski, Joan Herbert, Richard Delles, Mary Sitnik and Rita Gokey.
She is survived by her children, sons Edward (Barbara) Regan Jr of Clay NY, Patrick (Sonya) Regan of Roanoke VA, daughter Jacqueline (Brian) Farrell of Camillus NY. and "like a daughter" Jeri Regan of Baldwinsville, NY, grandchildren E.J. Regan, Heath Regan, Kelly Regan, Lindsay Regan, Rachele Simon, Alexis Farrell, Derek Farrell, Jake Farrell, Jonathan Magill, great grandchildren Joshua Gilbert, Shannon Regan and Edward "Jamie" Regan and numerous nephews and nieces.

To honor her wishes there will be no calling hours and burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers visit an elderly relative, friend or neighbor or cash donations can be made to St Camillus Rehabilitation Center, Fay Rd. Syracuse NY 13219.
