Pauline B. Adams passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She was 94 years old.
She was born in 1929 in Seaboard, NC.
She was married to Ira Adams, Jr. for 65 years, and they raised eight children living in the Syracuse area.
She is survived by four sons, Marvin (Lisa) of Maricopa, AZ, John (Carolyn) of Cicero, Nathaniel of Charlotte, NC, and Leonard (Margarete) of Syracuse; three brothers, Willie of Georgia, Phil of Canastota and Howard of Peterboro, 10 grandchildren: Heather, Jason, Marchelle, Fred Jr., Joi, Chris, John Jr., Amelia, Cameron, Brittany and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her mother, Mildred Tucker; her husband, Ira, son Frederick; daughters Anita, Karen & Teresa; grandson Nate, Jr.; and three sisters, Barbara, Carol & Thelma.
Pauline was a member of the North Syracuse Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, baptized in 1958. She did her best to timelessly teach the Bible to her eight children and take them to Christian meetings. She also shared her beliefs with others, setting an example for the family. Her devotion to what is right helped her to be a faithful mother and an example for many others over the years.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024, from 4-7 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals - North Syracuse.
Services will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at noon at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1900 W. Fayette St., Syracuse, NY 13204.
