Paulette Marie Spicer, 62, of Kirkville, passed away on Saturday at Crouse Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 12, 1949 in Syracuse a daughter of Edward and Sherel Dixon Kowaleski. Paulette worked at Crouse Hospital as a receptionist and clerk in the admitting office for 30 years. She was an avid seamstress and loved crocheting. Paulette was a great baker, loved animals and children.
Surviving are her husband, Hank, of 31 years, a brother, Joseph (Joanne) Kowalewski, Cicero, a sister, Karen Phillips, Cicero, along with several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday 10-12noon at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services will be held on Wednesday 12 noon, at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Onondaga County Veteran's Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or to Children's International.
