Paulette E. Jones

Paulette E. Jones, of East Syracuse, passed away on April 9, 2025, surrounded by family. Born in Syracuse, NY, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Ruth (McDonald) Jones.

Paulette was a 1963 graduate of Minoa High School, and after attending beauty school and working as a beautician, she transitioned to the roles she would hold and cherish until her passing, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by sons, Jeffrey (Lisa) of Fayetteville, Christian (Nicole) of Manlius; daughter, Jennifer (Bill) Jones-Herthum of Baldwinsville; grandchildren, Ryan (Monica), Haley, Lauren, Natalie and Brody; sister, Judith (Thomas) Sheldon, and nieces and other extended family. She was also a second mom and grandma to many.

Always selfless, in true Paulette fashion, she insisted there be no public services as she did not want her family and friends “to have to deal with all that stuff.” As such, services will be private.

Paulette was a fervent dog-lover; donations can be made to helpinghoundsdogrescue.org.
