Paulette M. Hughes, 79, of Clay passed away on Sunday with her family by her side.
She was born on July 14, 1940 in Syracuse, daughter of Jan and Mary Dunaj.
She was co-owner of Buttermaid Bakery in North Syracuse and co-owner of Hughes Cottage Bake Shop in Cicero. Paulette was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Cicero.
Survivng are her son, James J. Hughes of Clay; two daughters, Diane (Ken) Frank of Rochester and Jacqueline (David) Coss of N. Syracuse; 15 grandchildren and 10 gerat-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, James E. Hughes in 2012 and her daughter, Michelle Stanton in 2011.
A service will be held on Friday, August 9, 2019 at 10:00 AM at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum in DeWitt.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Shriner's Hospital.
