Paul Szolusha, 76, of Jamesville, NY, passed away on Sunday October 1st, 2017. Paul spent most of his life in Jamesville.
Paul was a US Marine. During the Cuban Missile Crisis, he was stationed in Georgia working on guided missile systems to defend our country. After his tour of duty, he came to Syracuse in the late 1960s. He worked at the General Electric facilities. Subsequently he switched employment to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse. He worked at Upstate Medical until 1999 when he retired.
He is survived by his fiancé, Kim Robinson; sisters Elaine Szolusha (Ron) Cooper, Carmen Bailey and Lois Lemire (Reggie) Maxon, and Carmen Bailey of California; Nephew, Corporal Benjamin Robinson; nieces and nephews, Melanie and Jason Cooper, Rebecca, David and Jennifer Darcy.
He had numerous friends who will always remember him as someone who cared for them with selfless endearment, compassion and pure love.
No funeral services or calling hours will be held per Paul's wishes.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, October 7, 1-4 pm at Pascale's Italian Bistro, 800 Nottingham Road Syracuse, NY 13224.
