Paul N. Schwenn

April 20, 1929 — August 10, 2022

Paul N. Schwenn, 93, of Cicero, New York passed away at Sunnyside Care Center on August 10, 2022. Paul was born in Syracuse and lived in Cicero for 60 years. After graduating from Assumption Academy, Paul proudly served his country in the US Navy. He retired from the US Postal Service as a compensation specialist in 1992.
Music and dance were always a part of his life.

At a young age he learned to play the German concertina, accordion and later the organ. He enjoyed singing and would do so at any opportunity. At Sunnyside the residents rallied around him to hear him sing and before long they joyfully joined in. To his family's amazement, at weddings he warmheartedly would take a mic and sing a tune for the bride and groom.

Through the years he volunteered his time as a church usher, religious education instructor and at various church events; in addition to belonging to The Holy Name Society. He truly enjoyed gardening and spending time with friends and family. Most of all enjoyed traveling with Helen his beloved wife of 50 years.
He was predeceased by his parents, brothers Raymond and Leon Schwenn

Survived by: his wife, Helen Schwenn; his son, John Schwenn; daughter, Lois Pisano (John); daughter, Carol Winchek (Robert); son, Michael Schwenn (Dianne); son, Edward Schwenn (Kathleen); daughter, Lorraine Wiley (Thomas); son, Mark Lowe, (Debra); daughter, Pam Pratt (Mike).
Also survived by 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
