Paul Reade Ellard, 83, of Baldwinsville, passed away on Thursday at Crouse Hospital with family by his side.
He was born on August 24, 1930 and served in the US Navy during the Korean War.
Paul retired from the VA Hospital and then later owned & operated a home inspection business. For the last 25 years, Paul enjoyed boating on the St. Lawrence. He was predeceased by his son, Wayne.
Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Sally, 3 sons: Reade (Robin), Kim (Lisa), Brien (Alice), 2 daughters: Juanita Ellard & Lisa Pelletier, 9 grandchildren: Brendon, Nicholas, Ryan, Paul James, Audrine, Ashley M., Tim, Ashley & Kyle, along with 3 great grandchildren, Leo, Ida & Jake.
There will be no services.
Donations may be made to the Syracuse Rescue Mission.
