Paul. J. Modafferi, Jr.

Paul J. Modafferi, 65, of Syracuse, passed away on Monday November 14, 2022 at Upstate University Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Paul was born in Syracuse on June 4, 1957 son of Paul and Madeline Modafferi. He received his Bachelors Degree at SUNY Geneseo. Paul taught many years at Roxboro Road Elementary in Mattydale and retired from HP Hood Dairy in Oneida. Paul had a serious love of music and was a huge Beatles Fan.

He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Modafferi, 2 sons, Ryan (Sarah) Mulligan, Ian Mulligan, grandchildren, Jameson, Charlee, Cameran, brother, David (Donna) Modafferi, mother, Madeline Modafferi, nephew, Andy (Ashley) Modafferi, and niece, Nicole (Josh) Oliver.

Visitation will be held on Friday November 18th from 10-11am at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St. N. Syracuse, with services at 11am. Burial will take place at Assumption Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
