Paul C. Lambert

September 14, 1925 — October 28, 2016

Paul C. Lambert, Jr., 91, formerly of Brewerton, died October 28, 2016 at Loretto.

Born in Syracuse to the late Helen and Paul Lambert, he graduated from Nottingham High School in 1943. He served in the U.S.. Navy during World War II. In 1946 he married Elizabeth "Bootsie" True (Bootsie died in 1986). He graduated from Syracuse University's School of Forestry (now EFS) in 1950. The couple settled in North Syracuse, where they raised two sons and a daughter.

Paul's career spanned estimating and executive positions with several of central New York's premiere millwork operations, including the former American Bar Fixture Company in Syracuse. He was justifiably proud of his contributions to many custom high-end millwork projects that still grace stores and restaurants across the state not to mention the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.

After retiring in 1992, Paul remained an avid golfer well into his 80s and was a dedicated follower of SU football and lacrosse.

In addition to his wife, Paul was predeceased by his son, Peter (1996) and his sister Nancy Harrington (2016).

He is survived by his son, Jim, of Central Square, daughter Connie, of Alexandria, VA (Jeff Kotsch), grandchildren Elizabeth Kotsch, Bryan Kotsch (Emily), Brandon Kotsch (Nicole) and Victoria Adams-Kotsch (Dylan Holcomb), brother-in-law and sister-in-law David and Muriel True, and 13 nieces and nephews.

Paul's family is deeply grateful to the wonderful staff of Loretto and PACE CNY North Syracuse for their skilled and compassionate care.
