Paul Edward Dyer, 78, of Brewerton passed away peacefully on Wednesday surrounded by his loving family. He retired from Carrier in 1993 following 25 years of service as an inspector. Paul was stationed in Germany while serving in the U.S. Army before marrying Patty in 1953. He was a life member of the VFW Post 7290 in North Syracuse. He was also a VAVS Rep for the VA Hospital and a member of MOC. Paul was predeceased by his daughter, Nancy.

Paul is survived by his wife of 57 years, the former Patricia Dempster; daughters, Debbie (Lennie) Richards, Michelle (Wayne) Woolridge, Tammy (Ron) LaRose, and Shari (Steffan) Ruscitto of Brewerton; a sister, Barbara Jean (Doug) St. Dennis; 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Services will be Saturday, 10 AM at New Comer Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Burial will be in Pine Plains Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday from 4-7PM at the funeral home, 705 N. Main St.
