June 21, 1934 — October 3, 2022

North Syracuse 88, passed away peacefully on October 3rd, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.

He is predeceased by his parents Howard & Ellen, brother & sister in law Francis "Frank" & Sally.

He was a life long Syracuse resident. He was a graduate of Morrisville College and later served in the U.S. Army.

Paul retired as a Chief Lock Operator for the N.Y.S. Erie Canal System.

Paul is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Maxine (Mautz); his six children, Michael (Mary Eileen), Howard (Denise), Lisa (Bill), Paula (Mark), Tim & Sherry (Jim); many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces & nephews.

He was an avid auto racing & horse racing enthusiast.

He will be dearly missed by family & friends.

Calling hours Friday, Oct. 7, 5pm to 7:30pm, New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St. N.Syracuse.

His Funeral Mass will be Saturday, Oct. 8, 10:30am at St Rose of Lima Church, 409 S. Main St. N. Syracuse.

Interment N. Syracuse Cemetery.
