Patricia V. "Patty" Menga, 65, of Central Square, passed away peacefully to the Lord while surrounded by family on Monday after a prolonged illness. She is predeceased by her husband, Patsy Menga Sr.
Patty is survived by her four children, Pamela (Bill) Frazer, David (Rosemarie) Menga, Patsy (Kristina) Menga Jr, DeAnna (Willie) Williams ; her five grandchildren, Anthony, Alissa, Hannah, Alec and Sophia; Patty was also survived by her long time companion, Carl Schlegel; and five siblings, Mardell, Kathy, Debbie, Mike and Stacey.
Patty was well known for her cooking in many local restaurants and for her children. She will be forever loved and missed by all who truly knew her.
Services will be Thursday 7 p.m. at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
