May 17, 1936 — March 6, 2018

Patricia A. Theetge, 81, passed away on Tuesday at St. Joseph's Hospital.

Patricia was born on May 17, 1936 daughter of the late John and Edna Hayes.

Pat retired as a R.N. and worked at hospitals throughout the Syracuse area. She was very proud to have participated in the very first open heart surgery at St. Joe's Hospital. In her early years, Pat enjoyed her many summers with her family at their cottage on Lake Ontario. In her later years, she especially enjoyed her time with family and many trips in her car with her precious dog Princess. She also loved to bake and share her yummy creations with friends and family.

She and her late husband Leonard (predeceased in 2011) enjoyed time in the backyard watching birds & shootin the breeze with their friends (neighbors) Janet & Tony.

Patricia is survived by her daughters, Terry Theetge, Louise Kennedy, sons, Steven J. Theetge, John D. Theetge, grandchildren, Joshua, Lisa, John, Steven; great grandchildren, Mariah, Marissa, and twins Samantha & Wesley.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 5 -7 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse.

A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday 10am at Most Holy Rosary, Syracuse.

Burial will take place at Onondaga Veterans Cemetery.
