Patricia A. Schwartz

Patricia (Lowery) Schwartz, 77 of Syracuse, NY, died peacefully at her home on July 3, 2024. She was born in Staten Island, NY. She worked as an LPN for 35 years at St. Camillus Rehabilitation Center in the Brain Injury Unit. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. She enjoyed doing Ceramics, loved animals, especially her two dogs Chad and Jazzy, and volunteered at the SPCA. She was a fan of the New York Rangers and the New York Yankees.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, John Schwartz, her two children; Kareyann Zych (Frank Mellace); Evan Zych (Gretchen); her two grandsons; Evan Jr and Brendan. She’s also survived by her sisters, Marie (Alec) Karp (Lowery), and Susan King (Lowery); step children, Sheila Zych, Sharyn (William) Jones, Jay (Kristena) Schwartz and step grandchildren; Ty, Stefan, Justin, Lexi, Regan, Ally, and Benjamin; Her nephew Aran King (Sally) and their son Graham.

She is predeceased by her step granddaughter Lyndsey Zych.

Services will be private and to honor her love of dogs, memorial donations may be made to any local dog rescue.
