Patricia Ann Schwald

Patricia A. (Fields) Schwald, 78, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 15th at home. She was born in Syracuse to the late Clarence E. Fields and Irma B. Hewitt-Fields.
Pat was involved in the PTA during her children's elementary years. She was a big Elvis fan and started the Elvis Fans United of Syracuse in the early 70's with her sister and raised funds for local children's charities for over 20 years. She was a bus driver for Westhill School where she was affectionately known as Mrs. Pat from 1975 until her retirement in 2015. She loved to ride on the back of the motorcycle with her husband, and enjoyed traveling and camping with her family.
She was predeceased by her husband, William Schwald; and her sister; Sandra Casaday. She is survived by her daughter Cindy (Rob) Lancette; son, Mark Schwald (Sue Johnson); grandchildren, Jesse (Marietta) Ackerman, Jordanne Conklin (Mike Phalen); and her great-grandson, Sterling Ackerman.
