Patricia A. Long

Patricia A. "Pat" Long, 83, of Syracuse, passed away on Thursday May 12th at Bishop Nursing Home. Patricia was born in Watertown on April 19,1939 daughter of the late Gilbert and Ada Mathous. Pat graduated from Indian River Central School in 1957 then worked and lived in the Syracuse area where she met her former husband Jerry. She raised her 3 boys then worked and retired from Birchwood Nursing Home. She enjoyed traveling, attending concerts, the outdoors and most of all being with her family. Pat was a member of Word of Life Church in Baldwinsville. She was predeceased by her sister, Sandy Strate.

She is survived by her sons, Christopher (Diane) Long, Jeffrey (Laura) Long, Michael (Cindy) Long, 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, sister, Mary Beeman.

Visitation will be held on Thursday May 19th from 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse. Services will be held on Friday 10am at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery in Baldwinsville.
