Patricia Ann Haight, 72, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her loved ones on August 24, 2023.
Pat was born in Auburn, New York on July 3, 1951. As a nurse, Pat dedicated her life to taking care of others and she retired from St. Joseph's Hospital after over 30 years of service. She was a kind, loving, and generous person who touched the heart of anyone she met. Pat's joy for life and laugh were contagious. Her favorite pastime was playing games with her daughter and extended family and Pat was always ready for a trip to the casino. Pat was very active in the Order of the Eastern Star and will be missed by her brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her daughter, Andrea (Lucien) Lawson; loving partner, Jere Haight; best friend, JeanMarie Lovett; and countless other extended friends and family.
Calling hours are Thursday, August 31, 2023 from 4:00pm - 7:00pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals - North Syracuse, 705 N. Main St, Syracuse. A funeral service will take place Friday, September 1, 2023, 10am, at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, 904 Vine St. Liverpool, NY. A celebration of life will take place Friday, Sept.1, from 5-7pm at Solvay Masonic Lodge (780 Woods Rd. Syracuse NY 13209)
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Pat's name to St. Matthew's Episcopal Church or to the Order of the Eastern Star BHS Chapter 567 (please note "In Memory of Pat Haight").
