Patricia A. Ellis

Patricia A. Ellis, 78, of East Syracuse passed away on Wednesday at home with her devoted daughter, Mary by her side. Patricia was born on September 6, 1940 in Syracuse, the daughter of the late Charles & Virginia Muhl. Patti was a member of St. Matthews Church in E. Syracuse and also belonged to PACE Program of CNY, where she enjoyed her time spent with friends. She loved to sing at PACE and most of all she loved spending time with her family & grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husbands, Richard & Wayne; her grandsons, Shane & J.R.; her sisters, Eileen & Ginny; and her brother, Chuck.

Patricia is survived by her children; Mary A. Shanahan (Troy Gregory) Timothy (Michelle) Shanahan, Suzanne Hammond, Richard Shanahan; grandchildren, Amanda, Kristina, Miranda, Shawna, Joseph, Kelly, Colleen, Jennifer, Jamie; great grandchildren, Isabella, Everly, Alexzander, Nicholas, Johnny, Zachary, Thomas, James, Jr., Danielle, Michael, Olivia, Liam; her sister, Kathy; along with several nieces, nephews and her dog, whom she loved dearly, Sadie.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4 -6 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St, N. Syracuse, with services at 6pm.

Patti's daughter, Mary, would like to thank the entire staff at PACE 2 for all the care and support. Also, to Carolyn and all the tenants at Barrett DeWitt Apartments for their support and friendship.
