Patricia Ann Brown

Patricia Ann Brown, 90, of Liverpool, passed away February 9, 2025. Patricia was born in West Chazy, New York on March 24, 1934. She was a graduate of Plattsburg Teaching College where she earned her certification in education. Following her schooling, she met her soul mate, Gerard "Gerry" Brown whom she married in Plattsburg, NY. They shared their love for 58 years and had 3 children together prior to Gerry's passing in 2016. During those 58 years, they traveled the world with their children, as Gerry served in the United States Air Force for 37 years. Pat began her career in Lake George as a kindergarten teacher, transferring to Roxsboro Elementary where she taught for many years. Pat retired after a dedicated 37 years. She devoted her life to teaching, treating her students as her own. Pat had a strong Catholic faith and was a parishioner of St. Rose of Lima Church. She was a beacon of her community, serving others above herself. Pat will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Gerard "Gerry" Brown and her mother, Dorothy LaPier. 

Pat is survived by her 3 children, Jan-Marie Brown, Gerard (Kathy) Brown Jr. and David Brown; grandson, Justin Brown; two sisters, Eva (Robert) Gricoski and Doris (William) Ranken; her 4 legged companion, Mr. Sandy Beaches; and several nieces and nephews. 

Calling hours will be held Thursday February 13, 2025 from 4-7PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held the following morning at 10:00am at St Rose of Lima Church, with Father Christopher Celentano officiating. Gerry and Pat will be reunited again at Our Lady of Peace Mausoleum.
