Patricia Barker, of Syracuse died at 81 but now lies in a state of "Amazing Grace" she worked as a waitress at Enricos in her younger years. She was a long time resident of the Bernadine and an active volunteer there before the onset of her illness. She enjoyed the company of her friends at Bingo and at the Saturday afternoon church services.
Surviving are her daughter, Deborah of Central Square, a granddaughter Jade Kahan of San Francisco and a brother Carl Beasley now retired to Florida.
The Saturday 3pm church service, October 30th at the Bernadine will be said in her memory 8th floor.
