Owen "Tiny" Francis Hanavan, 74, of Central Square, passed away April 21, 2023.
Owen was born in Syracuse, New York on December 15, 1948 to the late Owen Jr. and Eloise Hanavan. He was an avid boater and hunter. He enjoyed traveling to Florida. Owen loved SU Sports. Most importantly he loved spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his partner, Joann Stassi; two brothers, James Hanavan and Patrick John Hanavan; sister, Rosemarie (Robert M. Jr. ) Richards; several step children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, great-nephews, cousins and friends.
Calling hours are Thursday from 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, North Syracuse, NY.
