O. Archie D'Eredita

O. Archie D'Eredita, 98, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Friday. Archie was a beloved grandfather and an avid Lotto player. He was an Army veteran serving in WWII. He was a lifelong member of the Teamsters Union. After retiring from King Storage, he went on to become a security guard for Pinkerton for many years which he greatly enjoyed.
Archie is predeceased by his wife, Virginia and his daughter, Annette D'Eredita.
He is survived by three sons, Robert (Polly) of Ohio, Albert (Kathy) of East Syracuse and Joseph of Syracuse; four daughters, Donna Seager of Syracuse, Rosemary D'Eredita of Syracuse, Carol (Chuck) Weaver of Florida and Debbie (John) Berta of Georgia; 27 grand-children; numerous great and great great grandchildren; three sisters, Chris Fanizzi, Lou Zirilli and Angie Viggiano, all of Syracuse; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Monday from 5-8 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services will be Tuesday, 9AM at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at St. Mary's Mausoleum, Dewitt, NY.
