Norman W. Mattice

Norman W. Mattice passed away on Saturday at the age of 54.
Norman lived most of his life in Brewerton, relocating to Boston, Buffalo then later to Syracuse. Norman graduated with high honors from Central Square High School and performed in many of their stage plays and musical productions. He attended Oswego College for a short time and then pursued a music career with the bands Dress Code, Decent Pizza, 145 and The Richards. Norm will be remembered for his great smile, warm heart, talents of singing and guitar player.
He is predeceased by his parents William and Jeannette Mattice.
Norman is survived by his wife Debra Mattice, 2 step children; Eric (Angela) Pabst and Kim Schue, in laws, Diane (Julian) Balicki, Ken Olszewski, Linda (Pete) Choczynski, Dan (Valarie) Olszewski, uncles, Richard (Nelma) Mattice, Norman (Lisa) Mattice, aunt, Carol (Paul) Bednarz, uncle, Charlie Belsky, along with several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held at on Friday from 5-7pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, with services to follow.
