Norman Moore, Jr.

August 31, 1950 — March 4, 2019

Norman "Mick" Moore Jr. of Lysander died unexpectedly on Monday, March 4, 2019 in a car accident.

He was born in Syracuse and graduated from Westhill High School. He attended Canisius College and then received multiple graduate degrees from SyracuseUniversity. Norman and Jackie also lived in New Jersey for 5 years and Connecticut for 10 before settling back in the Syracuse area. He worked for Prudential, Blue Cross Blue Shield, General Electric and UBS, where he traveled around the world. He was always happy spending time with his son, Zachary, working with him on his football skills. He was known for his great sense of humor and was an extremely enthusiastic Syracuse University sports fan.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jackie; son, Zachary; sister, Nancy (Richard) Egan; brother, Brian; sister-in-law, Julie (Mike) French; brother-in-law, Joel Anderson and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Sunday, March 10 1-4pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals with a service to follow at 4pm.
