Norman L. Tidd died suddenly on December 24th, in his home in Syracuse, NY. He was 65. Norm was born in Ithaca, NY. He was a passionate Yankee fan. He spent much of his life in Nags Head, NC and in Deerfield Beach, FL running boats for deep sea sport fishing, truly his love in life! When he returned to Ithaca, he worked as Captain for Captain Bill's tour boats on Seneca Lake in Watkins Glen.

Norm is predeceased by his parents, Norman E. and Lillian Tidd.

He is survived by one brother, John Tidd of Syracuse, NY; one sister, Donna Tidd Moore (Bob) of Rochester NY; nephews and nieces, Greg Moore (Kim) of Rochester, Kristen Moore Goodlaxson (Matthew) Des Moines, IA, Brian Moore (Dawn) of Dayton, Jeremy Tidd (Fran) of Atlanta GA, Chad Tidd (Natsumi) of Mobile, AL, Peter Tidd (Amber) of Syracuse, John Alan Lauretti of Ithaca, NY; and many great nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are from 1 to 3 pm Saturday, Jan. 10th at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 North Main Street, North Syracuse, NY. Funeral Service will follow at 3 pm.
