Norman H. Roemer, 83, of Lincoln Park, NJ, passed away peacefully with his children by his side on Tuesday in Syracuse, NY. He proudly served in the United States Navy and was an active member and past Commander of American Legion Post 279. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. Norman was an avid NY Yankees and NY Giants fan.
He is survived by 3 children, Michael (Elizabeth) Roemer, David (Dorothy) Roemer and Anne (Peter) Kuczynski; 6 grandchildren, Sally, Kati, Morgan, Michael, Matthew, Jacob; 1 great-grandchild, Dean; 1 brother, Raymond (Gloria); and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday 11AM-12PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, NY. A service will immediately follow with burial in Onondaga Veterans Cemetery.
He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
