Norman H. Obrist, Jr., passed away on Monday after a long battle with A.L.S. He served in the US Air Force in Japan during the Korean War, he was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church, Cicero and was retired from Laboratory Alliance of CNY.
Surviving are his loving wife, Dorothy (Irving), brothers; John (Barbara), James (Carol), sisters; Sister Mary Obrist of the Franciscan Order, Jane (Dean) Foringer, North Carolina, Joan (Robert) Doyle, Helen (Gary) Dunham, Virginia (Edward) Busco, along with several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Barbara Obrist Wilson, and his parents, Norman, Sr. & Agnes.
Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday 10am at Sacred Heart Church, Cicero. There are no calling hours.
Contributions may be made to the retirement fund of the Sisters of St. Francis or to Sacred Heart Church.
