Norman Brais, 94, of Clay, passed away April 7, 2022. Norman was born in Massena, New York on July 7, 1927 to Henry and Mary Ann Brais. There were three aspects of his life that brought him great joy; his service to God, his family, and his great appreciation for cars. Norman was a member of the North Syracuse Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. He loved spending time with his family, especially camping trips in the Adirondacks. He had a fine reputation as an auto body repairman and was known for his generosity. He will be dearly missed by family and friends.
Norman was preceded in death by his parents and son, Gerald Brais.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Mary Brais; two daughters, Deborah (Donald) Kuntz and Cindy Gibbs; son, Rick Brais; sister, Theresa Pelletier; brother, Raymond Brais; three grandsons, Nicholas (Amy) Kuntz, Matthew Kuntz, and Michael Brais; two granddaughters, Kayla Kuntz, Danielle (Jamie) Randall, and daughter in law, Kendra Brais.
Services will be held privately at a later date.
