Norma G. Buterbaugh,
76, of Liverpool, NY formerly of Commodore, Pa., passed away on Friday March 27, 2015 at St. Joseph's Hospital, 301 Prospect Ave., Syracuse, NY 13203 with her immediate family present.

The daughter of Norman and Mary Stiffler and was born June 02, 1938 in Commodore, Pa..

Norma worked all her life with children. Norma worked for the Indiana Head Start for 23 years as a Teachers Aid, Cook, and Teacher. She also worked at the Marilyn Wells Daycare for 2 years. And finally prior to retirement she worked in Private Daycare for 1 ½ years.

Hobbies: Plastic Canvas artwork and of course… playing BINGO!
Norma was a very loving and dedicated mother and grandmother. Norma was happy throughout her life to her last breath.

Norma G. (Stiffler) Buterbaugh was married to Leo G. Buterbaugh Sr. on Sept. 25, 1954.

Norma was survived by his son Leo G. Buterbaugh Jr. and his wife Patricia of Commodore, Pa.; Charles Buterbaugh and his wife Kat of Worland, Wy; Deborah Fogle and her husband Jim of Indiana, Pa.; Elizabeth A. Scott and her husband Jeffrey Scott of Liverpool, NY; and her son David Buterbaugh of Beaumont, Tx. Also Arnold Lewis of Indiana, Pa. previously husband of Theresa (Tess) Buterbaugh and Richard Oliver of Gillette, WY. husband of deceased husband of Theresa (Tess) Buterbaugh.

Norma is also survived by her grandchildren: Steven Stiteler and wife Stephanie of Black Lick, Pa.; Robert Fogle and his wife Tammy of Indiana, Pa.; Mary Lewis of Indiana, Pa.; Christopher Lewis of Indiana, Pa.; Holly and CJ Buterbaugh of Indiana, Pa.; Justin and Austin Scott of Liverpool, NY; and Cammey Buterbaugh of Worland, Wy. Great Grandchildren: Raschel Stiteler of Black Lick, Pa.; and Christopher, Cylis Lewis of Indiana, Pa. and Brackstyn Buterbaugh of Worland, Wy. Step Grandchildren: Michael Joyner and wife Crystal of Courtland, Va.; Jason Joyner of Wakefield, Va.; and David "DC" Buterbaugh and wife Wendy of Bakersfield, Ca.; Brandan and Emma Joyner of Virginia, David, Jewel and Michael Buterbaugh of Bakersfield, Ca.; and numerous nieces and nephews.


Family that have passed previous to Norma were Tess Oliver her daughter, her brothers TSgt. Norman, Wayne, Alvin, Tom, Jimmy and Ed. Her sisters Olive, Phoebe, Phyllis. Direct family who were survived by Norma was Mary Good of Burnside, Pa and Lila Rummel of Northern Cambridge, Pa. There will be no viewing or reception per Norma's wishes.
