Norma Cooter

Norma Cooter, 81, of Syracuse, passed away December 11, 2022. Norma was born in Pompey, New York on June 14, 1941 to the late Howard and Adelaine Baum. She was a great mother and grandmother. She was the type of person that would give you the shirt off her back. Her children and grandchildren were her life.

She is survived by four sons, Donald (Carolyn) Cooter Jr., David (Dorene) Cooter, Kevin Cooter, Charles Cooter; a daughter, Melodie (Timothy) Hurteau; 8 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren; two brothers, Freddie Baum, and Neil Baum; three sisters, Edna Page, Dawn Garlock, and Violet Brewer.

Calling hours are Monday, December 19th from 10-12pm with a service to follow at New Comer Cremations & Funerals - North Syracuse.
